John Paul II  International Airport – the intercontinental airport is located in Balice, 11 km to the west of Krakow. The airport can be reached from the centre of Krakow by four different routes and also has an exit ramp from the A4 motorway.

AIRPORT - CITY CENTER BUS
The bus stop is located directly in front of the passenger terminal. Municipal buses of Krakow’s transport authority (MPK S.A.) no. 192 operate to/from Plac Matejki via Podwale Street and no. 208 – from/to Nowy Kleparz via the Miasteczko Studenckie (Students' Town) and Balicka Street.

No. 208: travel time (airport-city center) - 40 min. Bus ticket: 2,50 zl
Tickets may be purchased at newspaper stands in the passenger terminal and from the driver (with extra premium).
