The Royal Castle
The Royal Residence of the old times, it was destroyed during World War II and reconstructed in 1970-1980's in early Baroque style. The Royal Łazienki Park and Castle
One of the Europe's finest, it was laid as the royal summer residence and incorporates several masterpiece buildings: the Palace on the Island, the Organery, the White Cottage, the Myślewicki Palace etc. Now many of them are museums. The Presidential Palace
Built in 1640's and extended several times. Its current Neo-Classical shape is a result of remodeling after the purchase by Polish Kingdom authorities. In this Palace the Warsaw Treaty was signed in 1955. Since 1994 it is the residence of the President of Poland.

The Wilanów Park & Palace
Residence of kings, the Palace was built in the 18th century in rich Baroque style. Its name comes from Italian: "Nuova Villa". Today it houses the Museum of Interiors and a rich painting gallery. The park features the Italian garden placed on two levels between the Palace and the lake. The Southern part is designed as an English style Romatic park.

The Ujazdowski Park & Castle In 1624 the stone castle was raised for King Zygmund III Wasa, remodeled in 1764, demolished in 1954 and rebuilt anew since 1975. During its history The Castle successfully housed barracks, a military hospital and a military medical school. Since 1981 it is the Center for Contemporary Art organizing exhibitions of world's most outstanding artists.

The Barbican
Built in 1548 and designed by Venetian architect Giovanni Battista. In 1930's some part of the Barbican were unearthed. The reconstruction of the Barbican and the ramparts was completed in 1953-1954.

The Zoological Garden
Inaugurated in 1928 in the northen part of the Praski Garden. During World War II completely destroyed. Today it houses nearly 5000 animals representing 500 species. Open daily from 9am till nightfall. The ticket office is open daily from 9am to 6pm.

The Saxon Garden (Saski)
Established in 1713-1745 at the linitiative of King August II of Saxony. The garden constitutes the reminders of the foundations of the palace. There are many sculptures, a fountain and a sundial.

The Botanical Garden
Established in the 19th century, it was taken over by the Warsaw University in 1916. The collection of plants and flowers counts around 7000 species.
